National Park The Biesbosch

This nature area, originating from after the St Elisabeths flood of 1421, was in the past very important for the development of both Geertruidenberg and Raamsdonksveer.

With its 7000 ha. it now is an unique area of nature and recreation.

It is nice to enjoy the area with its various landscape of  creeks and channels, willows, reed, salting and sandbanks.
